Episode 2: Are your revenues on track for the year?

Using a hockey analogy:

You are down 2-0 after the first period. What do you do between periods? A few points we covered:

  • HONEST Assessment of what you did/didn't do in 1st period (or quarter).

  • Do you change your game plan? Good teams just keep plugging away and executing.

  • Keep same game plan but with appropriate tweaks based on date/results.

  • Sales and Marketing (just like forwards and defense in hockey) need to work TOGETHER to figure it and AND execute effectively.
